| Aids Orphans The UN warns that AIDS will kill almost 70 million people over the next 20 years. In South Africa one in every nine people is living with HIV. More than 360,000 lives are lost every year. In all there are 660,000 orphans who have lost one or both parents to AIDS, and that number is expected to rise to 2million by the year 2015. CAFOD and its partners are providing desperately needed care to those affected by the epidemic. |
