Bio (in brief!)
After his journalism post-grad at the London College of Printing, Simon spent his early career freelancing as a music journalist dividing his time between London and Paris. He found his true talent lay in visual story-telling so he settled in London to pursue a career in photography and film. Much of his focus is on human rights, social issues, and the environment. He often works with diverse voices, on the edge of society or in marginalised communities. Whether it’s making documentaries, shooting campaigns or directing commercials, his work is naturalistic, beautifully-shot and engaging. He works for a wide variety of clients from the BBC, Channel 4, The Economist, the Guardian, Unicef, British Red Cross to Ben and Jerry’s and Unilever.
